SAMSON manufactures control valves, butterfly valves, ball valves and modular automation units for use in all areas of process engineering as well as self-operated regulators for simple control systems for constant reference variable.

SAMSON Control Valves

Series 240, 250, 280 and 290 Control Valves include pneumatic & electric globe valves, three-way valves and angle valves. Application range covers control tasks in process, supply, power plant engineering and industrial applications. The modular system allows easy retrofitting and servicing. The control valves consist of a valve and (pneumatic, electric, electrohydraulic or hand-operated) actuator. Accessories such as positioners, limit switches and solenoid valves, can either be attached.

Rotary plug valve

VETEC's MAXIFLUSS valves combine the advantages of conventional control valves, butterfly valves, and ball valves. Their universal design allows them to be used in standard and critical applications. Thanks to the eccentric design of the rotary plug, it only comes into contact with the valve seat when the valve is completely closed. This means that the valves can control at high rangeability.

SAM DIGITAL

SAMSON is taking on the challenge of digitization. We are working to become the first choice for smart valves, flexible production processes, and challenging applications.
We are optimally prepared to achieve our target. At SAMSON, the staff's know-how on valves, actuators and positioners as well as the customers' knowledge of the processes are brought together. SAMSON counts on over 100 years of experience in valve engineering and has accumulated the necessary know-how to analyze data and draw the right conclusions.

In the course of digital transformation at SAMSON, the new SAM DIGITAL product line is being constantly developed to enhance our product range and to provide users with genuine added value. SAM DIGITAL contains all digital solutions by SAMSON as well as products required for connectivity.

SAM DIGITAL makes it possible to access final control elements and sensors anywhere at any time regardless of the process control system used. The fully web-based solution was developed by SAMSON for the chemical industry to link the smart control valves installed in a plant with the SAMSON cloud using the SAM PROCESS gateway. All device data are saved, managed, analyzed and clearly visualized in the cloud. The valve overview lists all connected valves with their respective status. On top, device details, such as measured, target and actual values, can be displayed on the device dashboard.
Strictest security standards are complied with, both for data transmission and the cloud, which is hosted in Germany and according to German law. The sensitive data collected in the field are transmitted over protected lines and securely saved to the cloud. This enables users to access their data anywhere at any time without any risks.

The demonstrator links several control valves fitted with TROVIS 3793 Positioners to SAM DIGITAL using the SAM PROCESS gateway. In the web interface, the connected valves are shown in the device overview. Failed devices can be identified quickly based on their NAMUR status. As a special service, the diagnostic data provided by the SAMSON positioners are analyzed and assessed so that specific troubleshooting instructions can be displayed on the device dashboard in addition to the pure compilation of data.

SED Flow Control GmbH

SED specializes in the development, manufacture and distribution of diaphragm valves, seat valves and variable area flow meters. In addition, SED offers a wide range of mechanical and electric accessories for monitoring and control that is perfectly tailored to the valves. Valve bodies and actuator components are made of high-quality metals and plastic materials.

The company builds turnkey systems and offers services, such as consultation, planning, manufacturing, commissioning, and final validation. Furthermore, the product range includes solenoid valves and limit switches to control and monitor actuators operating in hazardous areas and safety circuits.
