Compressor services
The degassing of PP resin in the resin bin to purge non-reacted propylene monomer is a typical process step in the production of polypropylene . Nitrogen is commonly used as a purge gas. Continuous purge streams containing substantial amounts of monomer are processed with the BORSIG Propylene & Nitrogen Recovery Unit in order to minimize:
- Loss of profit due to substantial loss of propylene monomer & Nitrogen
- Flare gas streams / flare gas capacity and secondary emissions to the atmosphere
