SICK’s Process Automation division offers sensors, tailored system solutions and services for analysis and process measurement technology. When measuring emissions, they monitor the legally prescribed gas components, record dust and particle emissions and measure volume throughput. The ultrasonic technology by SICK is leading in the precise flow measurement of natural gas in the pipeline distribution network as well as for process gases and steam.

Gas analysis, dust and flow measurement
Gas analyzers from SICK are based on a variety of powerful measurement principles. With its in-situ and extractive measurement technology for equipping complete facilities, SICK can also provide solutions for a variety of systems and complex measurement tasks.
Solutions even for difficult dust measuring tasks are available, such as dust measurement in wet gases. Suitability-tested devices and those with automated testing of zero and reference point are offered or features such as contamination monitoring or automated self-alignment.
Volume flow measurement, mass flow measurement or flow velocity measurement - the measuring tasks for determining gas flow are very diverse. In compliance with valid norms and standards FLOWSIC reliably measures a wide range of gases and are specifically aligned to special requirements. Flow metering systems from SICK incorporate leading ultrasonic metering technology for custody and non-custody transfer purposes.
