Maximator GmbH is a technology leader in the field of high-pressure technology. Based in Nordhausen, our company employs more than 400 qualified people, guaranteeing outstanding performance in product creation and service provision.
With sales offices across Germany and partner companies all over the world, Maximator is available to our customers as a specialist in the field of high-pressure and testing technology, hydraulics and pneumatics, guaranteeing bespoke solutions in next to no time. When it comes to pioneering technology, Maximator uses innovative new developments that support our customers in their business fields with effective and environmentally friendly solutions.
Maximator develops, designs and produces everything from components to complex systems. As well as high-pressure pumps, high-pressure compressors / gas boosters, valves, hydraulic units and gas compressor stations, our range of services also includes systems for gas and water injection, and hydrogen compressor systems. The portfolio is supplemented and extended by systems for hydrogen refueling and testing of hydrogen components.
An efficient service department provides setup, installation and maintenance of the components and systems produced by Maximator.
In order to ensure professional, long-term initial and advanced training for our staff, Maximator has an own Academy with trained, TÜV-certified coaches.
At our Service and Development Centre at the Nordhausen site, Maximator also offers customer-orientated services such as pressure, burst pressure and impulse testing, autofrettage of components, and a large number of inspections on CNG and hydrogen tanks (type 3 and type 4).
Behind all this is a certified quality management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001, which helps us to successfully apply our technological expertise and expertise to the field of complex systems.

Hydro Hulc - The smart way of hydrogen compression
The Maximator HYDRO HULC Series is a modular Gas Compression System, specifically designed for Hydrogen compression up to 1,050 bar with scaleable volume flow. In addition to innovative technologies such as the new Nitrogen Flow Purge purging process or our Flex Drive efficiency booster, the HULC series is particularly impressive due to its modularity in a wide range of hydrogen compression applications.
X-Tower - Revolutionary Hydrogen Gas Booster Series
The Maximator X-TOWER is a modular Gas Compression System, specifically designed for Hydrogen compression up to 900 bar with scalable volume flow. The X-TOWER is designed for integration in existing systems and is covering nearly all requirement for efficient gas compression.
High Pressure Pumps
The compact, low-cost MAXIMATOR High-pressure Pumps are driven by air or noble gas pressures between 1 bar and 10 bar. There are numerous potential applications for MAXIMATOR Pumps in machine engineering, oil and gas industries, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, defence, mining and the construction industry as well as in aviation and aeronautics.
Valves, Fittings & Tubings
The MAXIMATOR valves, fittings and tubing are suitable for different media and operating pressures up to 10,500 bar.
Gas Boosters - air driven high-pressure gas booster for up to 2,400 bar
The MAXIMATOR high pressure boosters are suitable for the oil free compression of gases and air. Industrial gases like Argon, Helium, Hydrogen and Nitrogen can be compressed to operating pressures of 2,100 bar (30,000 psi), Oxygen to 350 bar (5,075 psi).
