About us
Based in Mönchengladbach, SORB® has been producing and distributing products for use in the event of leaks or spills of hazardous substances such as oils, chemicals/acids and many other substances, but not water, in the B2B sector for almost 9 years.
We are committed to marketing biological or biodegradable products with the best possible efficiency wherever possible.
Our core product is the natural multi-absorbent SORB®XT.
Certified for use on all surfaces and effective within seconds. It absorbs up to 10 times its own weight; and disposal costs significantly less than conventional binding agents.

SORB®XT is a 100% organic binder that can be used on water, roads and all other surfaces in the event of damage. In a few seconds, almost 8 times its own weight is absorbed. Due to the low weight of the binder, handling is pleasantly easy and inexpensive disposal is a significant advantage compared to conventional binders. SORB®XT has been tested for its effectiveness and in accordance with the usage classes Type I, II, III-R SF of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.
Furthermore we offer a wide range of products applicable in case of leaks and spillages.
SORB®XT Fibre Products

Stain Solution Pro ECO
Stain Solution Pro ECO is a biodegradable, pH-neutral cleaner for oil and fuel stains. The cleaner can be used on regular surfaces, industrial surfaces and special surfaces.
Stain Solution Pro ECO effectively removes petroleum product contamination from porous as well as hardened surfaces such as concrete, paving stones, natural stones, asphalt, metal, glass, flooring and plastics. Stain Solution Pro ECO is NSF-registered!

Our SORB® Containments are ideal for short-term storage of hazardous substances, conventional technical, chemical and petroleum products and even usage in explosive areas.
Thanks to the simple handling, the containers are quickly set up and dismantled. In addition to the standardized sizes, customer-specifi c special sizes can also be manufactured on request. Suitable for temperature ranges between -10 and +70°C.
Our new antistatic SORB® Tarpaulins effectively combat leaks even in hard-to-reach
places or where it is difficult to place a containment tray, we transform the traditional tray into a flexible tarpaulin. As a result, you are ideally equipped to safely contain even the most tricky leaks. Whether in the event of unforeseen spillages or leaks, our SORB®XT containment tarpaulin is the answer to leaks. Its impermeable construction ensures that no liquid can escape.
SORB® Stripper
SORB®XT Stripper is easily and quickly biodegradable, easy to use and free of
any environmental toxins.
SORB®XT Stripper works on the basis of benzyl alcohol, water and penetrating oil. It "cracks" and neutralizes all coatings in which carbon chains are present - except for the mineral substrate.
