STORAG ETZEL is Germany’s largest independent operator of underground cavern storage facilities, safeguarding the energy supply for Germany and North-West Europe. Strategically located near the North Sea coast, our Etzel site hosts more than 70 salt caverns with a working gas capacity of over six billion cubic metres, directly connected to major European pipeline and refinery networks as well as seaborne import terminals.
For more than 50 years, we have provided tailor-made storage solutions for natural gas and crude oil, combining outstanding infrastructure with strict safety and environmental standards.
