Products & Services
RINGSPANN's product portfolio includes freewheels, industrial brakes, shaft-hub-connections, heavy-duty couplings, industry couplings, precision couplings and precision clamping fixtures. We offer our customers a comprehensive standard programme of serial products, which we are constantly developing. Our aim is to be a one-stop shop for industrial Clutches, Couplings and Brakes for our customers. We develop customer-specific products in close cooperation with key customers. Our modularized assemblies help us to find solutions quickly and easily. In our webshop you can find at any time prices and delivery times for our standard programme and order easily. Product-related services are a matter of course for us; be it personal onsite service, product training courses, 3D models, online calculation programs, digital condition monitoring or EDI. Quality without compromise is our global motto for all products and processes.
Housing Freewheels
Our fully enclosed housing freewheels for stationary installation with drive and output shafts are particularly well-suited as overrunning clutches for high-speed applications. They feature separate bearings for the inner and outer rings and their own lubrication system.
Cardan Shafts
Cardan shafts, also known as drive shafts or universal joints, are torsionally rigid couplings. They are an indispensable component in many areas of mechanical and vehicle engineering, used to connect prime movers and driven machines.
Complete Freewheels FB
Complete Freewheels FB are sealed sprag freewheels with ball bearings. They are supplied oil-filled and ready for installation, on customer request with biodegradable oil.
In addition to the standard type, three other types are available for extended service life.
Nominal torques up to 160 000 Nm. Bores up to 300 mm. A multitude of standardized bore diameters are available with short delivery times.
Application as
- Backstop
- Overrunning Clutch
- Indexing Freewheel
Shrink Discs RLK
Shrink Discs are external clamping connections for the backlash free fastening of hol- low shafts or hubs to shafts. By tightening clamping screws conical surfaces are pulled together generating radial forces; these forces press the hollow shaft onto the shaft. Torques or axial forces can be transmitted frictionally from the hollow shaft to the shaft. The Shrink Disc itself is not involved in the transmission of torques or axial forces. The radial clamping forces which act through the circumference of the hollow shaft also ensure an optimum centring to the shaft.
Characteristics two-part Shrink Discs
• Easy, quick assembly by tightening clamping screws without a torque wrench
• Modern design with high power density
• Distance-controlled assembly ensures guaranteed transmissible torques
• Enclosed design, therefore impervious to dirt
• True running even at high speeds
Characteristics three-part Shrink Discs
• Tightening of clamping screws with a torque wrench
• Classical design
• Torque-controlled assembly
• Easy disassembly without jacking screws
Electromagnetic Brake Caliper MV … FEM
The brake calipers MV … FEM are a very compact and high efficient disc brake with very low power consumption. Its floating bearing compensates small misalignments of the brake disc. The enclosed and robust design enables use in difficult ambient conditions with frequent braking operations. The attached electronic reduces the power consumption in open position automatically.
Options
• Inductive proximity switch: “Brake released“-status and/or “Friction block wear adjustment necessary“
• Lever for manual and controlled opening of the brake
• Mounting compensation shims up to approx. 2 mm
