VDM® Alloy 825 is a titanium-stabilized austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of copper and molybdenum. It is approved for pressure vessels. In contrast to the standard variant VDM® Alloy 825, the CTP material has a higher proportion of molybdenum, which increases the pitting corrosion resistance in seawater. The acronym CTP stands for Corrosion - Temperature - Pressure and identifies material variants that are specially tailored to the requirements of the oil and gas industry.
